THRIVENT  FINANCIAL  -  All members as asked to join us today after worship to vote for chapter officers and national board of directors during the coffee hour.  Please find the Thrivent table.  Your vote is important since it will determine how much money Salem receives for projects.

ROAST  BEEF  DINNER  -  All women volunteering to roast the meat should pick up their portion in the kitchen during the coffee hour.

               All donated items should be brought to church and left in the kitchen by this Tuesday.  Volunteers are needed to set up tables.  Please come at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. 

               Helpers are needed on Wednesday for food preparation at 9:00 a.m.

WOMEN’S  GUILD  -  Christmas Party, Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. at Mackie’s Restaurant, 3373 Clinton St., West Seneca, NY  Cost: $15.00, plus $5.00 donation for Niagara Lutheran Home.

OVERNIGHT HOSTS  -  Anyone who is able to host one of six college-age members of Captive Free this Thursday, please contact Stephanie Pittock at the church office – 824-2787.  Captive Free is a touring music ministry team visiting the Buffalo area in November.

CLiMB  RECEPTION  -  Everyone is invited back today at 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a reception.  Enjoy wine, cheese, entertainment and a special presentation on CliMB and Hananiah Lutheran Church – Rev. Kenyatta Cobb.

CONCORDIA  CEMETERY  REDEDICATION  -  This Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., 438 Walden at the corner of Sycamore.  Rev. Travis Pittock will lead the service.  Joanne Kushka will be singing a solo.  The cemetery was organized in the 1800’s by several Lutheran churches.  The public is invited to attend!

SALEM  YOUTH  EVENT  -  Tickets available for “The Living Singing Christmas Tree” pageant at The Chapel, N. Forest Rd., Williamsville, NY on Friday, November 19, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.  Cost is $12.00.  Contact Tracy Thomas or Laura Thomas (827-8461) for tickets.  Limited tickets available.
