“BE  THOU  MY  VISION”

1.   Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; naught be all else to me,

            save that thou art:

Thou my best thought . . . by day and by night, waking or sleeping,

            Thy presence my light.

2.   Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word; I ever with thee and

            thou with me, Lord.

Thou my soul’s shelter, thou my high tower, raise thou me

            heav’nward, O Pow’r of my pow’r.

3.   Riches I heed not, nor vain, empty praise, thou mine inheritance,

            now and always:

Thou, and thou only, first in my heart, great God of heaven, my

            treasure thou art.

4.   Light of my soul, after victory won, may I reach heaven’s joys,

            O heaven’s Sun!

Heart of my own heart, whatever be fall, still be my vision, O

            Ruler of all.

"FOOTPRINTS  IN  THE  SAND"  by  Joseph Martin & David Angerman

1.     Lord, on the gentle  wind, we hear you calling,  "Come follow me."  Lord, in the

sands of time your footsteps falling, lead us to thee.  Though they pass across dark

mountains, Though they walk through valleys deep, on the road I see your footprints

and I follow where they lead.

Chorus:  There are footprints in the sand by the sea of Galilee.  There are footprints

in the sand that lead to Calvary.  How beautiful the feet of the Prince of Peace.  I

thank you, Lord, for your footprints in the sand.

2.     Lord, as the new day dawns, I see You walking by the crystal sea.  Lord, on that

distant shore, I see your footprints still leading me.  As they lead into the future to a

a calling yet unknown, I will keep His promise near me.  I will never walk alone!

        Chorus:

3.     Jesus came to earth to illumine the way, and the path that He left is still shining

today.  The sands of time have not covered the path He laid down.  For those who

are seeking, the way still is found, still is found.

        Chorus:
