HYMN
- “Holy, Holy, Holy”
1. Holy, holy,
holy, Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity! 4. Holy, holy, holy! Lord
God Almighty!
All thy works shall praise thy name in earth and sky and sea.
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity! INVOCATION CONFESSION &
ABSOLUTION - Pastor:
They went out and preached that people should repent. (Mark 6:12) People: For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy
and blameless in His sight.
(Ephesians
1:4) Pastor: God calls us to confess our sins and repent of them.
(silence for reflection)
Almighty and all-merciful God, People: we confess before You that we are sinners, sinful from birth. We
have sinned in our thoughts, words, and actions.
We have not
loved You with all our heart, soul, and mind, nor have we loved
our neighbor as ourselves. Forgive
us for the sake of Jesus. Amen. Pastor:
Through Jesus, God has freely lavished on us His grace. In Him we
have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Therefore,
as a called and ordained servant of the Word, I announce the
grace of
God to all of you, and in the stead and by the command of my Lord
Jesus Christ I forgive you all your sins in the name of the
Father and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. People:
Thanks be to God. Amen. INTROIT &

PRAISE – “At the Lamb’s High Feast We Sing”
1. At the
Lamb’s high feast we sing
Praise to our victorious king,
Who has washed us in the tide
Flowing from his pierced side. Alleluia! 7. Easter triumph, Easter joy!
This alone can sin destroy;
From sin’s pow’r, Lord, set us free,
Newborn souls in you to be.
Alleluia! 8. Father, who the crown shall give,
Savior, by whose death we live,
Spirit, guide through all our days:
Three in One, your name we praise.
Alleluia! COLLECT OF

“Beautiful Savior”
1. Beautiful
Savior, King of creation,
Son of God and Son of Man!
Truly I’d love thee, truly I’d serve thee,
Light of my soul, my joy, my crown. 2. Fair are the meadows, fair are the woodlands,
Robed in flow’rs of blooming spring;
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,
He makes our sorr’wing spirit sing. 3. Fair is the sunshine, fair is the moonlight,
Bright the sparkling stars on high;
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels in the sky. 4. Beautiful Savior, Lord of the nations, Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise adoration
Now and forevermore be
thine! SERMON: CREED
- Apostles’
Creed (rise) -
I believe in God, the
Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And
in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy
Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was
crucified, died and was buried. He
descended into hell. The
third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the
Father Almighty. From
thence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I
believe in the holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of
saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the
life everlasting. Amen PRAYERS

pay your morning sacrifice. 3. Lord, I my vows to
you renew. Disperse my sins
as morning dew; Guard my first springs of thought and will, and with yourself my spirit
fill. 5. Praise God, from
whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. THE

& COMMUNION HYMNS
- “Sweet
Hour of Prayer” 1. Sweet hour of prayer, sweet hour of prayer, that calls me
from a world of
care, And bids me at my Father’s throne
make all my wants and wishes known, In seasons of distress and grief, my
soul has often found relief, And oft escaped the tempter’s snare,
by thy return, sweet hour
of prayer. 2. Sweet hour of
prayer, sweet hour of prayer, thy wings shall my
petition bear, To Him whose truth and faithfulness
engage the waiting soul to bless; And since He bids me seek His face,
believe His word and trust His
grace, I’ll cast on Him my ev’ry care, and
wait, for thee, sweet hour of prayer. 3. Sweet hour of
prayer, sweet hour of prayer, may I thy consolation share, Till, from Mount Pisgah’s lofty height, I view my home, and take my flight: This robe of flesh I’ll drop, and
rise to seize the everlasting prize; And shout, while passing thro’ the
air, farewell, farewell, sweet hour of
prayer! “Open
My Eyes, That I May See” 1. Open my eyes, that I
may see glimpses of truth Thou hast for me; Place in my hands the wonderful key
that shall unclasp, and set me free. Silently now I wait for Thee, ready, my
God, Thy will to see; Open my eyes, illumine me, Spirit
divine! 2. Open my ears, that I
may hear voices of truth Thou sendest clear; And while the wave-notes fall on my
ear, ev’rything false will disappear. Silently now I wait for Thee, ready, my
God, Thy will to see; Open my ears, illumine me, Spirit
divine! 3. Open my mouth, and
let me bear gladly the warm truth ev’rywhere; Open my heart, and let me prepare love
with Thy children thus to share. Silently now I wait for Thee, ready, my
God, Thy will to see; Open my heart, illumine me, Spirit
divine! “Alleluia” 1. Alleluia
5.
He’s My Savior
2. How I love Him
6.
I Will Praise Him 3. Blessed Jesus
7.

S E N D I N G CANTICLE -
“O Lord, We Praise You”
May God bestow on us His
grace and favor To please Him with our behavior And live together here in love and
union Nor repent this blest communion. O Lord, have mercy! Let not your good Spirit forsake us, But that heav’nly – minded he make
us; Give your Church, Lord, to see days of
peace and unity. O Lord, have mercy! PRAYER & BENEDICTION
HYMN -
“Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound” 1. Amazing grace! How
sweet the sound That saved
a wretch like me! I once was lost but now am found, was
blind but now I see! 2. The Lord has
promised good to me, His word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be as
long as life endures. 3. Through many
dangers, toils, and snares I have already come; His grace has brought me safe so far,
His grace will see me home. 4. Yes, when this flesh
and heart shall fail and mortal life shall cease, Amazing grace shall then prevail in
heaven’s joy and peace. POSTLUDE – ***************************************************************** ASSISTANTS
