Salem Lutheran Sunday School

Mission

            Our mission is to teach children the message of Jesus Christ through bible lessons using the Faith Alive bible, Concordia’s “Growing in           Christ” lesson material, Martin Luther’s catechism, music and other events.

             Student Age Group:  Sunday School students start at 2/3 years of age through to Grade 8.  There is also a High School Student Bible Class.

             Sunday School Staff consists of helpers, teachers, a treasurer, financial secretary, secretary, Junior and Primary Department Leaders and a Superintendent.  The High School Student Bible Class is currently led by our Director of Christian Growth.

Meeting Frequency:

            Sunday School is in session from the Sunday after Labor Day in September to mid June.   9:00 a.m. to 10: 15 a.m. each Sunday morning.   High School Bible class is   also at this time.

            Sunday School Staff meets monthly the second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at Church.  Also in attendance at this meeting are Pastor, Director of Christian Growth, Salem Youth Leader and Head of the Board of Christian Education.
